About The Position

The Virtual Construction Manager at CCG Services Inc. is responsible for providing design-assist, civil engineering, and technology services on CORE construction projects across the U.S. This role involves extensive use of 3D modeling and coordination, visualizations, and documentation throughout various stages of the construction process. The manager will oversee the creation and management of 3D models, facilitate coordination meetings, and represent the company in project pursuits and networking opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Virtual Construction, Technology, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Preconstruction Manager, or related position involving virtual design and construction.
• Proficiency in creating and building 3D building information modeling (BIM) models using Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup.
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data technologies, including Faro and Faro Scene.
• Familiarity with BIM coordination software such as BIM 360, Revizto, and Navisworks.
• Knowledge of animation software including Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premier, Lumion, Blender, Synchro 4D, and CM Builder.
• Experience with 3D printing and building physical models.

Responsibilities

• Provide design-assist, civil engineering, and technology services on CORE construction projects.
• Manage all 3D models during preconstruction, construction, and closeout phases.
• Facilitate coordination meetings with subcontractors and design teams.
• Create presentation and proposal content related to BIM for project pursuits.
• Attend interviews and presentations to represent Virtual Construction.
• Create Revit models for trades and design for construction coordination.
• Perform laser scanning and process point clouds to model existing spaces in Revit.
• Create usable 3D models to preemptively solve construction problems.
• Develop 4D construction site animations for logistics planning.
• Plan and pilot drone flights for data analysis of construction sites.
• Assist in special projects and improve BIM/VC processes with new technology.
