About The Position

Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing businesses grow. Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users. As a Video Lead, you will grow in a cross-functional environment. You will help build demand, negotiate, and manage commercial agreement frameworks and disrupt the ever-changing video landscape. You will have an understanding of how YouTube and DV360 can support an advertiser's business objectives and drive value for Agencies. In this role, you will be a combination of Agency Account decision maker pitches and internal Video and Sales team projects. Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world's biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird's eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in digital media, sales, marketing, or product roles.
  • Experience with YouTube, Video, or Streaming Video.
  • Experience working with digital organizations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience negotiating and closing upfronts or digital partnerships as a video buyer, seller.
  • Understanding of Google and Video industry ads products and services in relation to the marketplace.
  • Ability to maintain relationships with agency/video advertising stakeholders.
  • Ability to grow in a cross-functional, collaborative sales environment.
  • Ability to be detail-oriented and multi-task.

Responsibilities

  • Lead upfront pitches for assigned accounts within holding companies/operating companies (pitch preparation and delivery, meetings with Agency Account teams, agreement delivery).
  • Structure, negotiate, manage team's video incentive agreements across a varying range of advertisers (i.e., adherence to global policies/exception handling processes, value add approvals, agreement tracking).
  • Manage quarter business targets through in-quarter scatter plays and close collaboration with internal and external Account teams.
  • Build relationships with agency investment teams to drive successful shift in both the upfront and scatter market.
  • Scale individual team efforts into a uniform team approach (i.e., cross-team best practice sharing, standardizing agreement-related sales materials, etc.).

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $134,000-$196,000 + bonus + equity + benefits.
