About the position
The Vice President, Sales is a key leadership role responsible for leading a growing team of Account Executives and driving Seamless.AI's sales and business development strategy. They will develop and implement repeatable sales processes, lead a high-performance sales organization, and execute the company's growth strategy to scale the business to over $100 million in revenue. The VP, Sales will also be responsible for diversifying sales through new channels and markets, improving existing sales processes, and managing a growing team across multiple geographies. They should have 10+ years of sales management experience, a proven ability to scale a sales organization, and extensive experience in SaaS sales.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Account Executive team
- Define optimal performance metrics and performance management programs
- Hire, develop, and lead an engaged and high-performing team
- Partner with Sales executive leadership to develop and execute an effective sales strategy
- Develop and execute strategies to diversify sales through new channels and markets
- Follow and communicate market insights to contribute to corporate growth strategies
- Assess and improve upon existing sales processes, methodologies, infrastructure, and metrics
- Implement necessary adjustments to optimize performance and capitalize on opportunities
- Manage a growing team across multiple geographies
- Contribute to team structure, commission structure, and organizational design
- Conduct performance assessments and management
- Plan and provide training for team succession planning
- Scale a sales organization and revenue streams
- Sell, win, and retain smb, midmarket, and large enterprise customers
- Drive significant revenue growth in a high transaction environment
- Build innovative sales models and execute tactically
- Extensive experience in SaaS sales
- Ability to attract and retain top sales talent
Requirements
- 10+ years of sales management experience with demonstrated track record of success
- Proven ability to scale a sales organization and revenue streams
- Experience selling, winning and retaining smb, midmarket and large enterprise customers
- History of driving significant revenue growth in a high transaction environment
- Strategic thinker capable of building innovative sales models with the tactical ability to execute
- Extensive experience in SaaS sales
