About The Position

Wise Pelican is looking for a motivated Vibe Engineering Intern who is eager to learn and contribute to our AI-first development team. As part of a high-velocity group reimagining engineering in the AI era, you’ll have the opportunity to work with senior engineers, leverage modern frameworks, and explore AI-assisted development tools practically in the context of a SaaS company serving clients every day. You’ll get hands-on experience utilizing a suite of AI tools to build a product that empowers real estate professionals in their pursuit of closing homes and expanding their careers. The primary purpose of this internship is to gain hands on experience orchestrating and utilizing AI agents to create a large impact in a real tech environment.

This position is a part-time internship located in Scottsdale, Arizona, working up to 25 hours/week.

Requirements

• Current student (college, bootcamp, or trade school) with a foundational understanding of coding.
• You’re excited about building things that matter and have a curiosity for user outcomes.
• Familiar with JavaScript/TypeScript and front-end frameworks like React.
• A problem-solver who enjoys collaborating with others and exploring new tools.

Nice To Haves

• Side projects that incorporate AI tools like Claude Code or Cursor.
• Contributions to open source or personal coding projects.
• Exposure to CI/CD and testing concepts is a plus.
• Experience building products and shipping apps.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building user-facing features using JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Utilize AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Lovable, Bolt) to support development tasks.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to contribute to feature development.
• Learn to think like a Product Engineer. Understand user needs and engage with feedback.
• Contribute to code quality by writing clear pull requests and basic tests.
• Learn how to produce and ship varied code and products to production.
