We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. Requirements

• Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal-related field is preferred
• Knowledge of animal husbandry, including basic care, feeding, and grooming techniques
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures, such as sample collection and processing
• Understanding of veterinary critical care practices and emergency protocols
• Proficient in animal handling techniques, ensuring the safety of both pets and staff
• Experience working in a kennel or pet care facility is a plus
• Basic knowledge of medical collections processes is beneficial
• Familiarity with dog training methods is an asset

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets with a warm and friendly demeanor
• Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar
• Answer phone calls, emails, and other inquiries promptly and professionally
• Collect patient information and update records accurately
• Assist with animal handling, including restraining pets during examinations or procedures
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with various procedures as needed
• Process payments for services rendered and provide accurate invoices to clients
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
