About The Position

At Petfolk, we are revolutionizing veterinary medicine through providing best-in-class service to pets, pet owners, and veterinarians through a connected care community. We operate a connected pet care ecosystem that provides pet owners exceptional service at our state-of-the-art, brick and mortar Pet Care Centers as well as through our mobile app, which provides 24/7 virtual care and support. We are looking for a Veterinary Doctor/ DVM Talent Sourcing Specialist to join our talent acquisition team on-site in NYC.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in sourcing, full life-cycle recruitment, high growth or agency experience preferred
• 1+ year experience working in Greenhouse, Rippling and/or similar applicant tracking systems
• Demonstrated ability to define and execute on innovative sourcing strategies to ensure alignment and success against prospect to candidate conversion KPI's
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment
• Self-motivated, creative problem-solver, and results-driven individual, with a focus on exceeding targets
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required

Nice To Haves

• Veterinary Medicine, Healthcare, Dental recruitment experience is a preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop & maintain robust talent pipelines to align with 2025-2026 headcount plans
• Develop & manage talent acquisition sourcing strategies for existing markets and new market expansions
• Leverage various sourcing tools, including online job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry events, to identify licensed veterinarians
• Serve as the initial point of contact for each prospect, assessing core competencies, and setting candidate expectations
• Influence the new requisition process, serving as a liaison between hiring managers & TA leadership
• Report on talent KPI's, providing insights to core TA leadership stakeholders
