Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Located in, or willing to relocate to, Southeast Missouri/Southern Illinois.
• Willing to travel as needed.
• Willing to work more than 40 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

• 2-year or 4-year college degree in a business, engineering, or construction discipline.
• Two or more years of experience in the steel joist and deck industry.
• Experience in reading structural and architectural drawings and project specifications.
• General understanding of the construction process.
• Willingness to advance and relocate to a Nucor facility or another District Sales Office in the future.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, durable, and loyal relationships with customers in the Missouri territory.
• Take ownership of customer accounts and grow profitable business in the market.
• Estimate steel joist and steel deck requirements from contract documents to develop project costs and create quotes utilizing Vulcraft products.
• Ensure the highest standards of service through professional, informative, and responsive communication with teammates, partners, and customers.
