About The Position

Walmart Business is a new initiative to save businesses, nonprofits and governments time, money and hassle so they can focus on their missions. Our aim is to leverage existing Walmart assets and build new capabilities to better serve organizational buyers. We're bringing together the Every Day Low Prices, assortment, omnichannel capabilities, and store footprint and community presence of Walmart with new experiences and functionality tailored to the unique needs of organizations. We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Advanced Analytics Manager to drive data-driven decision-making across our B2B eCommerce platform. This role will focus on Order Fulfillment, Perfect Order Experience, and Product Purchase Experience, providing actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency and ensure seamless fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eCommerce analytics, data science, and business intelligence, with experience in B2B retail environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Product, Engineering, and Strategy to develop insights and reporting that streamline order fulfillment and optimize the purchasing experience. Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in eCommerce analytics, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other analytical tools.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.).
  • Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and customer segmentation techniques.
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and optimize bulk purchasing trends, order size dynamics, and inventory allocation.
  • Ensure operational processes align with fulfilling large quantity orders efficiently while maintaining competitive delivery timelines.
  • Identify bottlenecks in order processing and propose data-backed solutions to enhance fulfillment reliability.
  • Support automation and predictive analytics initiatives to enhance large-scale fulfillment efficiency.
  • Develop analytics-driven strategies to improve customer delivery promise and ensure timely fulfillment of bulk orders.
  • Define and track key metrics for the perfect order experience, including on-time delivery, order accuracy, and fulfillment speed.
  • Identify and mitigate factors that contribute to order defects, such as incorrect shipments, damaged goods, or late deliveries.
  • Leverage data to optimize fulfillment processes and ensure seamless coordination between order placement and delivery.
  • Analyze and optimize the assortment strategy to ensure availability of the right product quantities for various business purchasing needs.
  • Assess customer purchasing patterns to determine appropriate bulk, multi-pack, and single-unit offerings.
  • Leverage customer segmentation and buying trends to refine assortment mix and improve order efficiency.
  • Ensure seamless integration of availability and fulfillment processes to meet diverse purchasing requirements.
