We are looking for people who are committed to working safely and to delivering high-quality results for our customers. Our Central Idaho Division located in the Lewis Clark Valley is currently recruiting for TCS/Flagger position.

Requirements

  • Current TCS and Flagger Certification
  • DOT Medical Card
  • Valid driver's license
  • General knowledge of transportation construction work
  • Must be willing to travel if job requires
  • Willing to work 40+ hours a week, which may include weekends as needed to get the job done
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen

Responsibilities

  • Ability to communicate with foreman and supervisors
  • Ability to read construction and traffic control plans
  • Must have complex problem-solving skills
  • Responsible for implementing and overseeing the project traffic control plan, operations, lane closures, road closures, construction zone signing and devices
  • Help keep traffic flowing through construction zone
  • Use radios to communicate with other flaggers
  • Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent any and all unsafe actions, processes, and behaviors
  • Must be a self-starter
  • Must be punctual for work as traffic control crews are typically the first on the job and the last to leave
  • Place, remove, and repair temporary and permanent traffic control devices
  • Coordinates and moves traffic control flaggers in construction areas as needed
  • Effectively and immediately communicate problems or concerns to the Foreman, Project Supervisor, or Safety Supervisor
  • Must interact in a professional manner with project inspectors, owners, and coworkers
  • Must be able to stand, walk, jog, climb, kneel, squat, bend at the waist, grasp and hold various tools and objects with both hands for extended periods of time
