About The Position

The Banquet Coordinator at Tulalip Gaming Organization is responsible for providing complex administrative support to the Banquet Manager. This role involves managing various projects and tasks related to banquet operations, analyzing issues, and recommending solutions. The coordinator will also engage in public relations with guests, vendors, and executives, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of administrative and/or clerical experience in a banquet, catering, and/or conference services atmosphere.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in writing and/or reviewing Banquet Event Orders.
  • Ability to type 40 wpm (test required).
  • Excellent writing and composition skills.
  • Good math and analytical skills with emphasis on researching, interpreting, and translating data.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience working with catering software applications such as Opera.
