About The Position

The EMT-B position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas is a part-time seasonal role focused on providing emergency medical services to guests. Requirements

• Current certification as EMT-B by TDH or Licensed Paramedic.
• Good standing with TDH.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to perform all duties listed in the job description.
• Valid Texas driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, including physical examinations.
• Provide First Aid and Basic Life Support, including airway management and circulatory support.
• Recognize the need for additional assistance, such as Advanced Life Support or ambulance transport.
• Communicate effectively with physicians and assist in patient transfers and referrals.
• Gather information and document incidents according to established procedures.
• Interact with employees, peers, and the public in a professional manner.
• Maintain and inspect vehicles, equipment, and facilities for safety and cleanliness.
• Understand and execute the Emergency Response Plan, including disaster management.
• Drive and operate emergency vehicles safely, familiar with local geography.
• Perform administrative duties such as data entry and documentation.
