About The Position

Kett Engineering is currently seeking hardworking, detail oriented, and team contributing test drivers for 1st, 2nd and weekend shifts on behalf of our client based out of a test center in Dearborn. All applicants must meet the minimum criteria below.

Requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 5 years.
• Have no points, no major traffic citations, and/or accidents for the past three years.
• No alcohol or substance related violations on your driving record.
• Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Ability to drive for prolonged periods of time.
• Accurately communicate detailed findings verbally and legibly write detailed findings on reporting forms.
• Follow directions and execute tasks.
• Be reliable and maintain good attendance.
• Complete required trainings.
• Have a positive attitude and ability to contribute to a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete a full vehicle evaluation and complete a clear and concise report and any other records for each vehicle during assigned shift.
• Drive on designated routes for 8-10 hours while performing test procedures.
• Participate in all vehicle testing including but not limited to driving and designated special tests.
• Operate vehicles in an extremely safe manner, obeying all laws of the road.
• Maintain safety and security procedures.
• Must be comfortable driving in inclement weather.
