The position at Siemens EDA involves contributing significantly to the Tessent business, which is a leader in silicon life solutions. The role focuses on technology enablement, managing critical issues, and collaborating with field teams and customers to resolve technical challenges. The candidate will also be responsible for developing marketing materials, conducting webinars, and analyzing market trends to support the adoption of Tessent technologies.

  • Work closely with the field team to manage critical issues and projects, define issues for actions and drive closure.
  • Develop collaterals for key Tessent technologies to assist field teams and benefit customers globally.
  • Directly work with the field team and customers at both engineer and technical leader levels to resolve technical issues for deploying key Tessent technologies.
  • Influence product direction by collecting and analyzing customer requirements and usage scenarios, summarizing priorities for the division.
  • Develop and deliver webinars, technology discussion videos, and product presentations.
  • Help develop training materials for specific specialty areas.
  • Interact with field teams to understand local market technology trends, including new industrial standards and applications.
  • Research and analyze the local DFT market, including growth potential and total available market.
  • Assist the field in driving key Tessent technology adoption and deployment across different vertical markets.
  • Publish key technology successes and usage scenarios to benefit other customers.
  • Support field marketing events in collaboration with both the division and the field.
  • Experienced in digital IC design flows.
  • Great knowledge and hands-on experience in scan insertion, ATPG, in-system test, test compression, IJTAG, SSN, defect modeling, tester, diagnosis, and yield analysis.
  • Good understanding of DFT applications in AI, automotive, and high-performance designs.
  • Script experience in using TCL/TK.
  • Excellent organization and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong marketing skills in developing and presenting marketing materials.
  • Motivated to learn new technologies and manage multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Fluent in English for both writing and speaking, with proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Mandarin, Korean, or Japanese.
  • M.S.E.E. and Ph.D. are desired qualifications.
