Cary's Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources department is seeking highly skilled tennis players to join our team at the Cary Tennis Park! These roles will assist other tennis professionals and full-time tennis staff in routine management of programs including camp, clinics, tournaments and special events. Ideal candidates will be comfortable teaching beginner, intermediate, and advanced players, both juniors and adults. Candidates should be USPTA or USPTR certified. Work will require a flexible schedule which will include weekdays, evenings, and Saturday availability as needed. This is a part-time, non-benefited, year-round position, up to 20 hours a week, with a maximum of 999 hours per year. This recruitment will be used to fill the following vacancies: Tennis Instructor I, Tennis Instructor II, Tennis Professional I, and Tennis Professional II. Applicants may apply for and may be considered for any of the positions, depending on qualifications. Please note: Anticipated starting rates for each of the roles will be as follows: Tennis Instructor I: $14/hr, Tennis Instructor II: $18/hr, Tennis Professional I: $23/hr, and Tennis Professional II: $30/hr.
