About The Position

The Team Lead for the 3rd shift at Coexcell is responsible for coordinating activities among plant resources to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing operations. This role involves providing leadership and direction for technical and processing issues, training requirements, and coaching. The Team Lead will also perform administrative functions necessary for effective management of the shift, ensuring compliance with production schedules and maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Working knowledge and practical hands-on experience with Extrusion Blow Molding processes.
  • Adequate math, reading, and technical skills to perform daily duties.
  • Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and electronic media communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate activities among plant resources to ensure safe and efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Provide leadership and direction for technical and processing issues.
  • Train operators and back-ups on extrusion blow molding techniques and fundamentals.
  • Perform all functions of a machine operator, including machine operation and ensuring cleanliness and safety of work areas.
  • Verify machine parameters and monitor variable parameters to maintain part quality.
  • Ensure proper parts and labeling are available for production.
  • Cover breaks as needed to maintain production flow demand.
  • Communicate and coordinate with support resources for efficient operations.
  • Complete and accurate documentation and shift reports at all times.
  • Conduct shift transition meetings to communicate safety, manpower, quality, maintenance, and production concerns.
