About the position
Huge is seeking a Team Designer to join their Team Design department. The role involves contributing to team design and resource management, with a focus on maximizing utilization and enabling employees to excel in their careers. The Team Designer will collaborate with various departments to accurately forecast new hires, track utilization, and manage global resource needs. Strong organizational and planning skills are required, along with the ability to make decisions within the scope of the role. The Team Designer will also contribute to the development and implementation of organizational strategies and practices.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to team design and resource management
- Maximize Huge's utilization across the network
- Enable employees to do their best work
- Collaborate with Craft and Portfolio Leads, Recruiters, HR, Finance, Client Partnership, and Program Delivery leads
- Accurately forecast new hires against revenue
- Track utilization and manage global resource needs
- Develop and implement organizational strategies, policies, and practices
- Work with Craft leadership, Department Heads, and client teams to staff projects with appropriate resources
- Accurately forecast future needs and capacity
- Consider employees' capabilities, skill sets, and interests in staffing decisions
- Facilitate communication to efficiently staff employees to projects
- Maintain and provide information about current and potential future projects
- Request feedback on the staffing process and make adjustments as necessary
- Communicate policies and procedures related to resource management and timesheet/project reporting
- Support profitability improvement through effective and efficient staffing
- Lead team design meetings and initiatives
- Have a Bachelor's Degree and 2+ years of experience in resource management and operations in a creative agency environment
- Possess excellent data skills, including proficiency in Google Sheets, Data Visualization, and Excel
- Have experience in storytelling with slides (Google Slides, Keynote, and/or PowerPoint)
- Demonstrate time management, follow-up skills, and attention to detail
- Set up, document, and execute a resourcing process
- Understand agency business and how project teams work
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion and have experience in staffing diverse teams
- Be a skilled negotiator, collaborator, and diplomat
- Foster and maintain strong, collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders and staff
- Have excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree plus 2+ years in a resource management and operations role in a creative agency environment
- Excellent data skills, proficiency in Google Sheets, Data Visualization, and Excel
- Experience in storytelling with slides - Google Slides, Keynote, and/or PowerPoint
- Time management and strong follow-up skills and attention to detail
- Experience setting up, documenting, and executing a resourcing process
- Solid understanding of agency business and how project teams work
