About The Position
The AWS World Wide Public Sector Federal Delivery Organization is seeking a AWS Task Order Manager (ATOM) to support our DoD business. This pivotal role ensures contractual delivery and facilitates business growth by managing a portfolio of task orders for AWS cloud services to government customers. Based in the Herndon, VA/Washington Metro Area (WMA), you will join a team of program management and technical business development professionals. Your primary focus will be on shaping, responding to, and executing Task Orders for Military Service and Combat Support agencies. As an ATOM, you'll act as the Task Order level program manager, overseeing project execution and maintaining crucial communication channels with DoD customers. This position demands expertise in project management, program management, and technical business development. You'll leverage your skills to incorporate technical requirements into commercial transactions, structure and close deals, and manage program activities in alignment with contract performance criteria. Success in this role requires a blend of information technology-centric project management, critical thinking, and analytical problem-solving skills, coupled with strong business development and executive communication abilities. This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and obtain and maintain an active Top Secret security clearance.
