About The Position

The position involves tarping and securing products loaded on flatbed trailers for shipment, as well as unsecuring and untarping products upon unloading. Employees are expected to follow both oral and written instructions and procedures for their duties. The role requires the use of a tarping machine to place and secure poly and tarps on flatbed trailers, ensuring that loads are secured with bungees and straps. Safety is a priority, and employees must observe all safety policies and wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. The work environment includes both indoor and outdoor settings, and employees are responsible for maintaining cleanliness in work areas and truck lots. In winter conditions, employees are also required to remove snow from trailers. Collaboration with coworkers is essential for success in this role.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Follows oral and written duties and procedures for each task.
• Places and secures poly and tarps on flatbed trailers as required with the assistance of a tarping machine.
• Secures the load with bungees and straps.
• Observes all safety policies and wears the required Personal Protective Equipment at all times.
• Keeps work areas and truck lots clean and orderly.
• Removes snow by shoveling trailers when necessary.
• Works well with others.
