About the position
The job overview for this position is that the Systems Engineer III at AbleTo is responsible for managing the company's systems and networks. They design new system architecture, troubleshoot and resolve system errors, and ensure the smooth operation of computer systems. They also provide training to junior Systems Engineers. This is a hybrid role that may require onsite work at the NYC office.
Responsibilities
- Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the Information Technology Operations
- Gather business requirements, conduct needs assessments, develop functional specifications, and build IT applications solutions that support business objectives
- Maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including Cloud Architecture, software, servers, storage solutions, networks, and physical facilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to level I System Engineers
- Serve as a subject matter expert on core systems, their integrations, and dependencies
- Regularly review current system configurations and provide recommendations for system improvements
- Review requirements and execute necessary workflow and enhancement changes within key systems such as Jira, Intune, Jamf, Tanium, CrowdStrike, Cisco Umbrella, Netskope, Manage Engine Administration, Slack, Zoom, Confluence, and Secure File Transfer protocols
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and complex problem resolution on escalated issues while maintaining application environment stability
- Act as an escalation point for Service Operations and re-engineer IT technology problems
- Lead projects and oversee the successful release and transition of new IT services into support
- Participate in security initiatives, including access control and vulnerability testing
- Maintain and improve existing build and deployment processes
- Work onsite at the NYC location
- Have experience with AzureAD, Powershell, Scripting, and SaaS solutions
- Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Technology or Networking
- Have strong hands-on experience with Google Workspace, Google Cloud GCP, and Windows Server/OS
- Have experience working with Jira as a System Administrator
- Possess technical expertise in creating and troubleshooting various workflows and integrations between SaaS solutions.
Requirements
- Able to work onsite at NYC location
- 5+ years of experience working with AzureAD, Powershell, Scripting, and SaaS solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Technology or Networking or equivalent work experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Workspace (Google Gsuite Administration, Docs, Sheets, Drive), Google Cloud GCP, and Windows Server/OS
- 1+ years of experience working with Jira as a System Administrator
- Technical expertise in creating & troubleshooting various workflows & integrations between SaaS solutions
