About The Position

The Network Engineer will support planning, design, development, implementation, and technical support of multiplatform, multi-system networks to encompass diagnosing network performance shortcomings and designing and implementing performance improvements. The Network Engineer will develop, operate, and manage networks required to operate in a secure environment.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience/knowledge in installing and configuring Cisco 7600 series routers and 6500 series switches.
• Maintain, monitor, troubleshoot, and diagnose problems with Cisco ASA firewalls, Cisco IDS/IPS, VPNs, Cisco 3750 series switches, and Cisco management applications.
• Develop network security requirements and policy and translate requirements into specific device configurations.
• Design and implement enterprise-level ISP backbone networks.
• Provide technical directions for the operation, configurations, and maintenance of network devices.
• Direct small teams in the identification and resolution of complex technical issues and problems.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewall is a plus.
