About The Position

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for examining sourcing, inventory planning, and warehouse capacity data to support improvements to our supply chain strategies. A proactive problem solver with highly analytical skills will be an excellent asset to our team.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics or related, or equivalent experience
• One - Three (1-3) years' experience in highly analytical positions with increasing responsibilities
• Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools; demonstrated ability to create user-friendly, impactful reports and dashboards.
• Proven ability to evaluate large data sets and turn findings into actionable recommendations.

Nice To Haves

• Prior work experience in grocery or CPG supply chain, operations, or manufacturing preferred.
• Working knowledge of SAP or like ERP system preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and SQL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze inventory data, forecast demand, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with supply chain objectives.
• Evaluate and recommend optimal MRP settings, supporting sourcing and procurement decisions aimed at cost reduction, enhanced warehouse efficiency, and increased service levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent stockouts.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into key supply chain metrics, ensuring data is accessible and actionable for stakeholders.
• Use FreshDirect's operating and business intelligence reporting platforms (SAP, Power BI, MS Excel) to analyze purchasing, inventory, and warehouse capacity data.
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed, translating complex data insights into clear recommendations for decision-makers.
