About The Position

The Maintenance Supervisor at Barry Callebaut is responsible for overseeing technical maintenance work, ensuring equipment reliability, and managing a maintenance crew at the American Canyon Manufacturing facility. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, or Associate degree with 2-5 years of specialized experience in mechanical/electromechanical and electrical systems in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a team or department.
• Ability to work independently and oversee contractors and direct reports.
• Knowledge of budgets and financial statements is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft, Google, ERP (SAP preferred), and CMMS (Maximo preferred).
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with strong time management skills to prioritize workload.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the food industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering and technical workflow, supporting and guiding production priorities.
• Improve efficiencies through continuous improvements and analysis of KPIs such as unscheduled downtime and maintenance metrics.
• Schedule repairs, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
• Prepare and supervise site preventative maintenance programs, enhancing PM compliance and effectiveness.
• Coordinate spare parts inventory, including cycle counts and budget management for maintenance/technical needs.
• Manage outside contractors for facility maintenance and ensure compliance with food and employee safety standards.
