About The Position

As a Superintendent at Taylor Morrison, you will lead the homebuilding construction process for assigned homes, ensuring timely completion while meeting financial, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction goals. This role encompasses project planning, resource allocation, subcontractor relations, cost management, and quality assurance, all while fostering a positive team environment and providing exceptional customer service.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with 1+ years of construction experience (preferably with a production builder)
• Bachelor's degree in Construction or related field preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of new home construction process, scheduling, and cost control procedures
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, and project schedules
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications and strong computer skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Customer service oriented

• Experience with production builders
• Completion of TM360 Learning curriculum

Responsibilities

• Responsible for leading the overall homebuilding process
• Foster a team environment
• Build and maintain positive subcontractor relations
• Evaluate quality, safety, scheduling, and cost control measures
• Provide mentoring of team members
• Manage the construction schedule to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products
• Develop and implement recovery strategies to maintain schedule
• Authorize payment for materials received and work completed
• Provide clear answers to buyers about home construction
• Ensure the overall condition of the home at move-in is satisfactory to home buyers
• Provide outstanding customer service at all times
• Ensure the worksite is clean, orderly, and visually appealing during construction
• Manage the post-close process for warranty, including assessing warranty requests and scheduling trades
