About The Position
Every day campers participate in fun and engaging YMCA summer day camp programs. Specialty Camp Counselors will lead programs areas based on the camp location in areas like archery, rock wall climbing, boating, and outdoor environmental education. They may also co-lead a group of 10-15 campers in various activities throughout the camp including group games, crafts, STEM projects, cooking projects, and more! We have camps that serve campers from preschool-early high school. From theme-based Discovery Camps to environmental explorations at Outdoor Day Camp to sports, swimming, STEM and more-we have something for every camper but also for every counselor.
