About The Position

The Strategy and Planning Senior Advisor role at PNC focuses on Recovery and Resolution Planning within the Finance department. This position is responsible for developing strategies to manage risks and ensure the bank's operational stability during adverse conditions. The advisor will lead initiatives to create recovery plans, assess risk scenarios, and collaborate with various teams to enhance operational capabilities. The role requires a blend of financial acumen, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to effectively present findings and recommendations to key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Lead development of Recovery and Resolution strategies
  • Work closely with Asset & Liability Management to develop a resolution scenario and strategy for recovery and resolution
  • Assess objects of sale and objects of shutdown, including overview, separability, valuation, and development of Virtual Data Room materials
  • Understand the bankruptcy and other steps that need to occur in a resolution scenario
  • Develop a strategy to test PNC's capabilities to exercise all resolutions actions required by PNC
  • Develop a framework that includes testing strategy - frequency, elements, etc
  • Develop execution plans for the framework
  • Work with business areas to develop operational capabilities
  • Partner with ALM to complete Recovery plan scenario and required updates
