About the position
Turing is seeking an experienced StratOps Lead to join their Operations team. This high-impact role involves driving critical initiatives from concept to execution and scaling. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of operational and management consulting experience, as well as cross-functional leadership skills. Reporting to the Head of Segment and Senior Director, the StratOps Lead will work closely with various functions such as GTM, product, engineering, data science, and finance to achieve project objectives and deliver outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to work on company-wide initiatives and make a significant impact in a fast-growing, remote-first organization.
Responsibilities
- Drive and own critical initiatives from concept to execution to scale up
- Define the strategy, potential impact, success metrics, and go/no go for the initiatives
- Act as a strategic thought partner to senior leaders
- Define execution plans with milestones and success metrics, coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Engage with stakeholders to align project objectives and secure necessary resources
- Be responsible for the outcomes of the initiatives
- Representative projects include optimizing developer rates, improving ML-based recommendations, and optimizing operational processes
- Operate in ambiguity and handle project management and operational challenges
- Take action to solve complex problems and build scalable processes
- Leverage data for insights and decision-making
- Communicate effectively and manage stakeholders at all levels
- Build relationships and collaborate with multiple groups and disciplines
- Thrive in a high-growth, constantly changing environment
Requirements
- Experienced in operational and management consulting
- Strong mix of operational and management consulting experience
- Significant cross-functional leadership and coordination skills
- Ability to drive initiatives and move metrics
- Experience working with functions such as GTM, product, engineering, data science, and finance
- General manager mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Action-oriented and willing to do whatever it takes to solve complex problems
- Analytically robust and able to leverage data for decision-making
- Strong communicator and stakeholder manager
- Ability to work in a high-growth, constantly changing environment
