Staff Software Engineer - UI

Decodable is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Application team. The role involves building and maintaining UI component libraries and web applications, with a focus on designing, developing, testing, releasing, and scaling Decodable UI applications. The ideal candidate should have experience with UI frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue, as well as proficiency in Javascript/TypeScript and REST APIs & web sockets. Additionally, experience in developing high-complexity, high-performance interactive browser applications and knowledge of data infrastructure and platforms would be advantageous.

• Building and maintaining Decodable UI component libraries and web applications
• Designing, developing, testing, releasing, and scaling Decodable UI applications
• Leading moderately complex projects with little supervision
• Guiding product and technical direction
• Mentoring and supporting other engineers
• Having relevant experience with UI frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, etc.
• Having experience with Javascript/TypeScript
• Working with REST APIs and web sockets
• Developing high-complexity, high-performance interactive browser applications, including architecture, data visualization, and optimization
• Experience building applications for data infrastructure and platforms
