About The Position

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Twelve months of full-time work experience in auditing, accounting, or finance.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial and compliance audits of state and local governmental units.
• Act as auditor-in-charge on small audit engagements as assigned.
• Work under the direction of an experienced in-charge auditor and general supervision of a manager.
• Ensure adherence to generally accepted government auditing standards.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings effectively.
