About The Position

The Staff Attorney I, II, and Sr Attorney positions provide legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries, ensuring their effective operation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. The roles involve participation in litigation and other duties as assigned. The positions require a Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school and admission to the bar, with varying levels of experience depending on the position. The attorneys are expected to have excellent research and writing skills, strong negotiation, human relations, and communication skills.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA accredited law school and admission to the bar.
• For Staff Attorney I: Minimum of two (2) years of experience.
• For Staff Attorney II: Minimum of four (4) years of experience.
• For Sr Attorney: Minimum of six (6) years of experience.
• Superior academic record.
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Strong negotiation, human relations, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Independently handle all aspects of litigation, including preparing responsive pleadings, engaging in discovery, and law and motion practice.
• Experience in complex and/or class action litigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal counsel and advice to the corporation and its subsidiaries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Participate in litigation.
• Review and provide direction on regulatory affairs and environmental issues.
• Stay abreast of existing and new regulations.
• Analyze and provide comments to notices of proposed rulemakings.
