About The Position

The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for providing systems support and management for over 79 locations across the USA. This role involves leading the IT team in all aspects of Systems Engineering & Operations, including capacity planning, service delivery, security, and support. The engineer will focus on cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure and 365, and will be tasked with the architecture, design, and implementation of Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS). Additionally, the role emphasizes process automation and requires expertise in cloud infrastructure management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) years or more experience as a Systems Engineer in a complex cloud environment.
• Advanced working experience with Azure and Office 365 Products.
• Advanced working experience with Microsoft Intune.
• Advanced working experience with Windows Server and Windows Client OS.
• Advanced working experience with automation tools and PowerShell scripting.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications (Networking or MS Azure preferred).
• Three (3) to Five (5) years' experience in a multi-cloud/on-prem environment.
• Knowledge of Multi-Vendor Cloud Solutions.
• Knowledge of remote workforce Windows client Imaging/Support/Updates.
• Knowledge of LAN environment using TCP/IP, distributed DHCP, DNS/AD integration.
• Knowledge of Windows Client 802.1x for LAN or WLAN deployments.
• Knowledge of Enterprise NAS/DAS/SAN and Cloud Storage.
• Knowledge of Workday AD integration.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems support and management for 79+ sites across the USA.
• Lead the IT team in Systems Engineering & Operations.
• Manage cloud services, specifically Microsoft Azure and 365.
• Design, manage, and deploy mobile device management (MDM) solutions.
• Support Windows Server and Windows Client OS installation and troubleshooting.
• Implement Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS).
• Automate processes using Power Automate and PowerShell.
• Coordinate resolution of incidents and requests from beginning to end.
• Provide Tier 2 and 3 support and serve as an escalation point.
• Collaborate with IT Security to monitor cloud privacy and risk.
• Create and maintain documentation for systems and processes.
