Job Description: Act a hands-on developer, engineer, subject matter expert, and lead on critical initiatives within our eCommerce team. Make an impact on the design, architecture and implementation of web store. Responsible for end-to-end delivery of features. Engage with cross-disciplinary staff and business partners to develop and build solutions. Drive the development on eCommerce platforms that supports a best-in-class customer experience using agile methodologies, software development best practices and groundbreaking tools/technologies. Plan, develop, and deploy e-commerce websites including designing web implementations, code writing, and ensuring site functionality. Build interfaces and components that enhance user experience and fully comply with business requirements. Participate in large software development projects requiring in-depth knowledge of complex web-based programming languages. Create and maintain accurate technical documentation and interpretations of business process models. Make recommendations that impact project-related technical development decision making for e-commerce websites. Position is fixed based in Marlborough office; however, telecommuting from a home office may be allowed.

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or a directly related field plus six (6) years of experience designing, developing, and implementing enterprise e-commerce software and systems in a retail or corporate business operations environment using the ATG Commerce platform.
  • Six (6) years of experience in Java web development including Java, Java Server Pages (JSPs), JDBC.
  • Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience including Agile implementation principles and practices; version control management (GIT or Concurrent Versions System (CVS); testing through presentation tier in environment using JUnit frameworks; and production environment deployment and maintenance.
  • J2EE web development experience including J2EE Servlets.
  • Five (5) years of experience in building enterprise eCommerce and retail applications on Oracle platform.
  • Building high-volume/high-transaction e-commerce web applications using Oracle ATG Web Commerce 11 and above.
  • Identifying and incorporating technical solutions during system design phases.
  • Experience with Ajax, Hibernate/ORM, Spring Framework, JBoss/Weblogic, Oracle database, MVC design pattern, MySQL, Apache Webserver.
  • Building applications following TDD/BDD approach.
  • Experience with ATG, ATG BCC, ATG XM, Oracle Commerce Endeca Experience Manager and Search platform.
