About The Position

Supermicro IT team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Enterprise Applications Analyst to join our dynamic team. This position will be located in our HQ at San Jose, CA. The role involves designing, customizing, configuring, and testing in the SAP FICO module while ensuring integration with SD, PP/MM, and QM. The successful candidate will be responsible for the implementation of financial processes in SAP, providing functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and user training to the business. The position requires a hands-on approach to design and configuration, as well as the ability to analyze current business processes and recommend solutions. The analyst will act as a liaison with the business for troubleshooting and will be involved in audit processes, documentation, and collaboration with other functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is required
  • Minimum 5 - 10 years of Hands-on SAP FICO configuration and user support experience
  • Good understanding of accounting concepts
  • Prior experience in computer manufacturing and Hi-Tech industries is preferred
  • SAP ECC to S4/HANA Migration Implementation experience is desirable
  • SAP FICO functional experience specializing in hands-on design and configuration of SAP Finance modules
  • Experience in 2-3 full implementation of SAP FICO modules
  • Experience in gathering business requirements and providing designs to meet business needs
  • Experience with configuring key controls within SAP system for compliance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations creation and delivery
  • SAP FI experience in General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Asset Accounting, Bank Accounting, Financial Consolidation and Reporting
  • SAP CO experience in Profit and Cost Center Reporting, Product Costing, and COPA
  • Experience and knowledge of key integration points between SAP modules
  • Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel when required

  • Experience in SAP Concur Travel & Expense and other external Non-SAP systems

Responsibilities

  • Design, customize, configure and test in SAP FICO module while ensuring integration with SD, PP/MM and QM
  • Responsible for successful implementation of financial processes in SAP
  • Provide functional expertise, guidance, presentation, and user training to the business
  • Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP FICO to enhance business functionality
  • Perform hands-on design and configuration of SAP FICO module
  • Perform Unit and UAT tests in SAP FICO with touchpoints in SD, MM, PP and QM
  • Analyze current business processes and recommend/develop solutions
  • Act as liaison with the business for troubleshooting and solving software problems
  • Handle Service Desk tickets logged by product owners and end users
  • Act as a key liaison between finance team and auditors during audit processes
  • Carry out complex assignments requiring development of new or improved business procedures
  • Write Functional Specification Document for FICO processes and configurations
  • Provide direction and support by developing/evaluating plans and SOP documents for Finance team
  • Collaborate with other functional teams and BASIS team for SAP Transport, Change Management and SAP authorization
