About The Position

The Reliability and Maintenance Engineering team at JLL plays a crucial role in ensuring operational success within Amazon's Fulfillment Center operations. This position focuses on leading the reliability program, developing initiatives to maximize the life and performance of various equipment, and driving continuous improvement in maintenance practices. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying risks and implementing solutions to enhance operational reliability.

Requirements

  • A completed Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or 5+ years of Amazon experience
  • Experience with computers, including MS Excel, Word, and Office
  • Experience using CMMS systems and reporting
  • Strong analytical skills to deep dive into data
  • Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts/areas

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering
  • 7+ years of experience as a Reliability Engineer/Manager or equivalent
  • 7+ years of experience with team management, budget responsibilities, and supplier management
  • CMRP/PMP certification(s)
  • Relevant training/experience in MHE, Controls Systems, and general building operations
  • Experience managing teams in an industrial environment
  • Experience with Preventive maintenance procedures and Industrial controls
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience with leading and delivering technical training
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing tools
  • Six Sigma certification from an accredited program
  • Root Cause Analysis formal training and facilitation experience

Responsibilities

  • Drive and promote safety culture across the organization
  • Serve as the primary conduit for communication between the Amazon/JLL Central Reliability team and local teams
  • Project manage network projects to solve critical process gaps
  • Manage CMMS central leadership and centralized Reliability and Quality Engineers
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for reliability and CMMS initiatives
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to align reliability efforts with business goals
  • Identify potential failure points and develop mitigation plans
  • Develop and own the Reliability Program Manager organizational structure and KPIs
  • Own the Root Cause Analysis program and drive process consistency
  • Identify procedural gaps and implement solutions
  • Establish and maintain a reliability database for critical programs
  • Provide engineering guidance to teams to meet maintenance goals
  • Perform regular data analysis to identify areas for improvement
  • Lead continuous improvement events and generate cost savings
  • Handle flexible workload and work autonomously
