Sr. Frontend Engineer

dv01 is seeking a well-rounded engineer with 5+ years of experience to bring transparency to the financial markets. In this role, you will work with a diverse team to develop on a modern, open-source stack and interact with large datasets to extract insights for customers in the banking, hedge fund, and credit originator industries. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to expand your financial knowledge and gain an exclusive view into the intricacies of the financial system. With a focus on beautiful design and intuitive user experience, you will contribute to creating visually stunning and insightful graphs and charts using D3.js, SVG, or Canvas API.

• Bring transparency to $13T of consumer lending by enabling customers to extract insights from large datasets
• Develop using a modern, open source stack including React, Redux, D3, Node.js, Scala, and Spark
• Collaborate with other teams to create great products, including working closely with the product team, design team, and data engineering team
• Gain knowledge of the financial industry and learn about the participants, terminology, and mathematics behind this sector of the financial markets
• Have a deep appreciation for engineering fundamentals, including writing tests, designing systems for long-term maintainability, and evaluating engineering considerations
• Value beautiful design and intuitive UX, working directly with designers and product specialists to enhance the customer experience
• Be a visualization enthusiast with experience using D3.js, SVG, or Canvas API to create visually stunning and insightful graphs and charts
• Be curious to expand financial knowledge and willing to dive into technical finance books
• Salary range for the role is $155,000 - $175,000, but final offer amount will be determined by multiple factors
