About The Position

The Sr. Cloud Engineer (Migrations) position is a contract role based in Hartford, CT, with a duration of 6 months. Requirements

• Expert level experience in GCP and Azure.
• Proficiency in Terraform and GitHub Actions.
• Strong scripting skills in shell and Python.
• Foundational knowledge of Java and troubleshooting code issues.
• Well-versed in network security concepts related to private clusters.

Responsibilities

• Drive the cloud to cloud migration process from Azure to GCP for 1300 applications.
• Develop terraform automation within organizational constraints.
• Implement end-to-end CI/CD processes, building from scratch.
• Manage Kubernetes and PostgreSQL for creating data sets.
• Utilize Argo CD for deployment and explore other tools like Cloud Build.
• Ensure all app migrations are undertaken at the platform level.
