About The Position

As a Sportsplex Shift Leader, you will be the primary on-site supervisor responsible for ensuring smooth operations at the Greensboro Sportsplex. This role emphasizes excellent customer service, adherence to facility rules, and maintaining a welcoming environment for all participants and visitors. You will report to the Operations Supervisor or General Manager and play a crucial role in fostering community engagement and recreation experiences.

Responsibilities

• Direct and delegate tasks to staff, guiding recreation assistants to enforce facility rules.
• Answer phones, assist patrons, and address inquiries to ensure a top-tier guest experience.
• Oversee daily setup for programming and ensure the facility is clean and presentable.
• Monitor building capacity, parking lot safety, and patron behavior, responding to issues promptly.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, including financial reporting and cash drawer operations.
• Serve as the on-site supervisor during events, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all.
• Ensure proper check-in procedures, maintain participant records, and oversee fee collection.
