About The Position

The Stepping Stones Group is hiring CCC-SLPs for In-Person Clinical Fellow mentorship and supervision in Eastern Lancaster County School District in New Holland, PA. This position involves providing support and guidance to Clinical Fellows (CF-SLPs) as they transition into independent practitioners of speech-language pathology services. The role includes direct and indirect supervision, mentorship, and adherence to ASHA guidelines.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in the school setting as an ASHA Certified SLP
• Maintains appropriate state license and ASHA CCC-SLP throughout the entire CF experience
• Completes at least two hours of professional development in the area of supervision after being awarded the CCC-SLP

Responsibilities

• Provide CF Supervision for CF-SLPs per ASHA guidelines
• Conduct a minimum of 6 hours of on-site and in-person direct supervision and 6 hours of indirect supervision activities during each third of the CF experience
• Mentor the Clinical Fellow to become an independent practitioner of SLP services
• Improve the clinical effectiveness of the Clinical Fellow through meaningful mentoring and feedback
• Assist the Clinical Fellow in developing independent clinical skills
• Complete all records and feedback/ratings in a timely manner
• Provide opportunities to view and accurately rate all skills listed in the 2020 CFSI
• Ensure the minimum required on-site and in-person supervisory activities per segment are met
• Adhere to professional & ethical best practices
