About The Position

The Specialty Artist - MAC at Ulta Beauty is responsible for maximizing sales of the MAC brand by engaging with guests to understand their needs, assisting in product selection, and maintaining store standards. Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Cosmetology or demonstrator license where required by state law.
• Cosmetics artistry experience preferred.
• Demonstrates significant competency in sales, products, and service.
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed MAC brand sales and service goals.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by interfacing with guests and maintaining contact with a preferred guest list.
• Ensure exceptional service by greeting and engaging every guest, personalizing service, and recommending products.
• Conduct personalized makeup demonstrations and skincare analyses according to brand standards.
• Stay informed about promotions and marketing initiatives within the brand and store.
• Book appointments and support in-store events to enhance guest experience and meet sales goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge to better serve guests.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
