About The Position

The Training Supervisor at Menzies Aviation is responsible for administering training programs for ramp operations at Denver International Airport. This role involves delivering training through various methods, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards, and promoting a culture of safety within the organization. The supervisor will oversee employee training, maintain necessary certifications, and support management in safety and compliance matters.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Positive, can-do attitude and ability to deal with people daily.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to stand for long periods at ticket counter and gate check-in areas.
  • Comfortable lifting up to 70 lbs.
  • Must pass FBI background check and obtain US Customs seal.
  • Flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word programs.
  • High school diploma, GED, or three years of experience in ramp/cargo operations.

  • Experience in aviation safety and security standards.
  • Previous training experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively deliver new hire and annual recurrent training for all station personnel.
  • Deliver ramp on-the-job training (OJT) and driver training based on qualifications.
  • Project a professional image and conduct at all times.
  • Ensure training delivery aligns with safety and security operations standards.
  • Support employees and supervisors in compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Report breaches of statutory requirements or company best practices to management.
  • Participate in daily safety audits and provide corrective action assistance.
  • Complete daily shift reports and other reports as requested.
  • Attend and participate in monthly departmental meetings.
  • Perform other duties as required.
