About The Position

The Inside Sales Representative at ADT is responsible for handling inbound calls from customers interested in security and smart home solutions. This role focuses on engaging with potential customers to close sales, assist existing customers with their moving process, and ensure customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving skills. The position is integral to ADT's mission of protecting lives and properties through innovative security solutions.

Requirements

  • One year of sales and/or retention experience preferred.
  • Proven sales ability and closing skills.
  • De-escalation skills to ensure callers receive the best customer experience.
  • Strong listening skills used to conduct needs analysis.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task while speaking to prospects.

Responsibilities

  • Receive inbound telephone calls from customers as a result of various marketing and partner campaigns.
  • Engage with interested customers to close sales and retain existing customers who are moving.
  • Schedule installation appointments with ADT Field employees.
  • Assist existing customers with disconnecting their current service and assuming the sale at their new address.
  • Overcome objections to gather leads and secure sales in the new home.
  • Conduct needs analysis to determine customer requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by transferring calls to the appropriate party for resolution and performing follow-ups.
