About The Position

The Sonographer at Vascular & Interventional Experts is responsible for performing ultrasounds and assisting with medical procedures in a collaborative environment. This part-time position requires working daytime hours four days a week, primarily at the Edina location, with potential support at the Woodbury site. The role emphasizes patient care, equipment maintenance, and compliance with medical standards, without the need for weekend, holiday, or on-call work.

Requirements

• RVT Board Certified.
• Current CPR & BLS Certification.
• Ability to travel to clinic locations across the metro up to 50%.
• Ability to comply with company policies, procedures, and business ethics guidelines.
• Demonstrated prompt and reliable attendance.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a clinic, office, or surgery center setting.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive lower extremity venous reflux testing independently.
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the arterial system and deep and superficial venous systems.
• Conduct general ultrasound scanning, including small parts, abdominal, and pelvic examinations.
• Recognize pathology and accurately interpret results for providers.
• Prepare patients for procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Care for ultrasound equipment and ensure compliance with accrediting bodies.
• Provide excellent patient care and adapt to changing priorities.
