Solutions Architect

We're looking for a Customer Facing Developer to join our world-class, remote team at AssemblyAI. In this role, your main focus will be helping customers explore the potential of our platform by building innovative proof of concept applications. You'll work closely with customers, guiding them through the development process and ensuring their visions come to life. As a key member of our Solutions team, you'll collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Product to understand customer needs and translate complex technical concepts into a simple, engaging customer experience. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to product improvement and build transformative applications using artificial intelligence.

- Serve as the dedicated technical resource in the pre-sales cycle. - Build and deploy full-stack applications (Next.js, Python, SQL). - Deliver custom solutions and prototypes that help customers understand the "art of possible". - Contribute to the open-source repository of demos, examples, and integration guides. - Build strong connections with customers' technical teams and leaders to ensure their long-term success with the platform. - Ideate and prototype in collaboration with the product team. - Deliver in-person presentations and technical demos to customers. - Have 2+ years of software engineering and application development experience. - Proficiency in SQL, Python, and React with web development experience. - Have experience working with production software systems at scale. - Built and/or delivered prototypes on top of the API platform. - Can proactively identify technical pain points in our and our customers' solutions. - Have the willingness to wear many hats, be passionate about unblocking issues for customers regardless of your job title, and have an excitement for problem-solving. - Operate with high horsepower, are adept at frequent context switching and working on multiple projects at once with expansive ownership, and ruthlessly prioritize.

- 2+ years of software engineering and application development experience - Proficiency in SQL, Python, and React with web development experience - Experience working with production software systems at scale - Built and/or delivered prototypes on top of API platform - Ability to proactively identify technical pain points in our and our customer's solutions - Willingness to wear many hats and be passionate about unblocking issues for customers - Excitement for problem-solving - Ability to operate with high horsepower, adept at frequent context switching and working on multiple projects at once with expansive ownership, and ruthlessly prioritize.
