About the position
As a Solutions Architect at Ad Hoc, you will play a crucial role in enabling government agencies to deliver effective digital services. Your main responsibility will be to create and communicate technical solutions that address customer needs and set them up for success. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout the opportunity lifecycle. This position requires experience working with VA - T4/NG, and you should have a strong understanding of technology, product development, and problem-solving. Additionally, you should be comfortable working in a dynamic remote work environment and be able to effectively articulate Ad Hoc's value and solution benefits.
Responsibilities
- Stay current on emerging technologies and communicate their relevance to Ad Hoc's work
- Support Growth activities by utilizing knowledge of government and commercial technology markets, customer needs, and Ad Hoc's expertise
- Facilitate and create solution strategies for opportunities with the Growth team and practitioners from various disciplines
- Contribute to demos, proposals, presentations, and other customer-facing artifacts
- Deliver user-facing digital products in an agile environment
- Apply knowledge of modern software development concepts such as agile development, product management, DevOps, and human-centered design
- Demonstrate superior product judgement and decision-making skills
- Lead kickoff workshops, discovery/prototyping sprints, road mapping exercises, and prioritization efforts with clients and teams
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen
- Experience working with VA - T4/NG
- All work must be conducted within the U.S.
- Knowledge of modern software development concepts such as agile development, product management, DevOps, and human-centered design
- Experience delivering user-facing digital products in an agile environment
- Superior product judgement and decision making
- Skilled at leading kickoff workshops, discovery/prototyping sprints, road mapping exercises, and prioritization efforts with clients and teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
