About The Position
Eaton's Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Solution Architect - Data Management. This role will be based on a hybrid schedule at least 3 days onsite in one of the follow locations: Beachwood OH, Galesburg MI, Houston TX, Menomonee Falls WI, Raleigh NC, or Moon Township PA. At Eaton, we are modernizing the way we use information and data applications to accelerate our digital transformation. As an Integrations & Data Management Solution Architect, you will partner with IT value streams and business partners to build data solutions across the enterprise to maximize business outcomes for Electrical Americas & GEIS business divisions and the Global Marketing function. This role involves applying data and system architecture best practices to create secure, scalable, cost-effective, performance-efficient, reusable, and resilient solutions while adhering to Eaton's security policies and standards. You will engage in business and technical discussions, present your architectures to various stakeholders, and incorporate their feedback to support Eaton's data mesh strategy. Working within the Chief Data Office, you will support the modernization strategy, roadmap, and implementation of data and application integration technology with a cloud-first approach when necessary. You will oversee the end-to-end data management journey to ensure effective data product delivery and allocate design and development work to full-stack Data Engineers, offering a unique opportunity for solutioning and building data engineering capabilities at Eaton.
