Software Engineer, Bidder, Spain

We are seeking a high-performance developer to join our team at Chartboost, focusing on the development of our real-time DSP Platform. This role requires expertise in handling a high volume of requests per second with low latency, as well as evaluating machine learning models. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a product that controls millions of dollars in real time, with a focus on high scale, low latency, and competitive data science. Additionally, they will collaborate with a team to drive developer productivity and mentor junior engineers.

• Responsible for design, development, and testing of the core pricing engine
• Ensure performance and correctness of the real-time bidding system
• Work effectively with other engineers, product managers, system architects, QA, and Operations teams to implement new features, feature enhancements, and issue resolutions
• Participate in technical discussions and come up with innovative ways to improve the product and processes
• Troubleshoot issues with applications, technologies, and infrastructure
• Continuously improve technical knowledge
• Think creatively and work independently while collaborating with the team to maximize efficiency and throughput
• Deliver quality work on time and drive developer productivity across the organization
• Appreciate clean code and have experience in writing unit tests to maintain code quality
• Mentor junior engineers and exemplify best development practices
• Excel at problem-solving and algorithm development
• Have 4+ years of experience with several mainstream programming languages
• Have experience with a high-performance, low-latency application
• Have experience working with Agile development
• Have experience working with US-based engineering teams
• Experience with Golang and Python would be a plus
• Experience with Machine Learning would be a plus
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Bigtable, etc) would be a plus
• Experience managing Cloud infrastructure (AWS) would be a plus

• BS in Computer Science or related field
• Excel at problem solving and algorithm development
• 4+ years experience with several mainstream programming languages
