About the position
The job overview for this role is to design and implement data intensive, stateful cloud offerings that are fault tolerant and can scale gracefully under load. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring service SLAs are met even in the presence of catastrophic failures, evaluating and analyzing requirements, and coordinating with stakeholders to drive execution from ideation to delivery. They will also interact with internal and external customers to identify and influence the product roadmap. The ideal candidate should have experience with large-scale systems and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement data intensive, stateful cloud offerings that are fault tolerant and scale gracefully under load.
- Ensure service SLAs are met even in the presence of catastrophic failures by evaluating and analyzing requirements from product owners and coordinating with stakeholders to effectively drive execution from ideation to delivery.
- Leverage various monitoring and alerting services to resolve escalations and urgent issues in deployed services.
- Interact with internal/external customers to identify and influence product roadmap.
- Experience with large-scale systems: building, deploying, and maintaining large-scale systems that can handle high volumes of data and traffic.
- Strong communication skills: collaborating effectively with others.
