About The Position

The Snowmaker position at Wisp Resort involves working as part of a team to create and maintain optimal skiing conditions through snowmaking. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Successful completion of safety and training for operation of tools and equipment required for snowmaking tasks.
• Basic English language skills.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to open and maintain skiing terrain with created snow.
• Rotate snowmaking guns and check snow quality.
• Clear snow from around equipment and maintain a clean workplace.
• Operate and care for all snowmaking equipment and follow safety protocols.
• Participate in training regarding safety and snowmaking operations.
• Shovel snow and perform snow removal around snowmaking equipment as needed.
• Assist with the relocation and setup of portable snowmaking equipment.
• Interact and communicate effectively with team members and fill out required forms.
