About The Position

The position involves programming and operating Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment effectively. The role requires running usage and failure reports on each work order, maintaining a troubleshooting log, and ensuring that machinery is checked frequently to operate safely. Preventative maintenance on SMT machinery is also a key responsibility, along with alerting supervisors and maintenance colleagues about necessary equipment repairs. Additionally, the position requires ensuring that assembled products meet the Class 3 IPC-610 Standard and working closely with the SMT process engineer.

Responsibilities

• Program and effectively operate Surface Mount Technology equipment.
• Run usage and failure report on each work order.
• Maintain troubleshooting log.
• Check machinery often so it can be and is operated in a safe manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance on SMT Machinery.
• Alert Supervisor and maintenance colleagues regarding necessary equipment repairs.
• Ensure assembled products meet Class 3 IPC-610 Standard.
• Work closely with SMT process Engineer.
