About the position
Clearmatics is seeking a Smart Contract Engineer to join their Layer 1 Engineering team. The engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining decentralised financial smart contracts on Autonity, with the goal of creating decentralised risk markets for real-world risk factors. This role will involve working on various projects, including smart derivatives, DEX trading and settlement protocols, algorithmic stabilisation, data oracles, and liquid staking. The ideal candidate should have familiarity and passion for the Ethereum-like space.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain decentralised financial smart contracts on Autonity
- Enable the creation of decentralised risk markets in real-world risk factors
- Work on smart derivatives, DEX trading & settlement protocols, algorithmic stabilisation, data oracles, liquid staking, and more
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and product managers to design and implement solutions
- Contribute to the development of blockchain infrastructure optimized for financial use-cases
- Explore protocols for specific applications such as smart contract-based derivatives, synthetic assets, and cryptocurrency stabilization
- Enhance scalability and privacy through cryptography techniques like zkSNARKs, multiparty computation, and private transactions/assets
Requirements
- Familiarity with Ethereum-like stack and passion for the space
- Experience in developing and maintaining decentralised financial smart contracts on Autonity
- Knowledge of smart derivatives, DEX trading and settlement protocols, algorithmic stabilisation, data oracles, liquid staking, and more
- Ability to work alongside quantitative researchers and product managers to implement solutions
- Strong understanding of blockchain infrastructure optimized for financial use-cases
- Proficiency in protocols for specific applications such as smart contract-based derivatives, synthetic assets, cryptocurrency stabilization
- Expertise in scalability and privacy through cryptography, including zkSNARKs, multiparty computation, and private transactions/assets
