About The Position

Allied Mineral Products, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. We are looking for an energetic, motivated and results individual to join our Shipping & Receiving Team at our Pell City, AL plant.

Requirements

• Must be physically and mentally fit for duty
• Must be at least 18 yrs old
• Dependable and able to maintain the attendance required to perform the job
• Ability to read, write, comprehend and fully understand SOPs, SDSs, labeling, safety and health regulations, and procedures within the job
• Must have the ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be able to qualify and wear half face respirator

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products on/off truck and trailers
• Pick customer and affiliate outbound orders
• Record information on shipping records
• Be knowledgeable of all shipping/receiving SOPs
• Operate and complete warehouse movements of products in RF Scanning equipment
• Weigh incoming raw materials and record onto paperwork
• Place raw material and packaging products in properly assigned warehouse locations
